The Marriage of Content and Design

Anyone who has an iPhone (or has read the recent Steve Jobs' book) knows that creating a great product isn't enough for Apple. You've got to package it in a beautiful design. So it is with your message: make the back end fly with strong prose and send it to new heights with an elegant design. That is what we are about at Brinkley Ink: strong writing and equally strong design.

John Brinkley is a highly accomplished writer with an extensive background in speechwriting and journalism. He has been employed as a speechwriter at the U.S. State Department, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the Investment Company Institute and the Embassy of South Korea in Washington, D.C. He is at work on a book about the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement. John is also a successful op-ed writer; op-eds he wrote have appeared in the Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle, Philadelphia Inquirer, Miami Herald and elsewhere. His freelance clients include the National Wildlife Federation, the National Association of Social Workers, the National Investor Relations Institute and many others..

Kate Brinkley is a communications expert with a background in print and online publications. Several months ago, Kate began a contract in church communications with the Old Presbyterian Meeting House in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, after editing Facets of Faith, a "coffee table" book about the stained glass windows of National Presbyterian Church.  Kate has also been busy designed publications for the Embassy of Israel, Georgetown Presbyterian Church, and Columbia Partners.
